1. Application form is to be completed in all respects and signed by the applicant and not by any Agent. Applications with incomplete details are liable to be rejected. Application form of minor (below age 15 years) needs to be signed by the mother/ father/ legal guardian. Passport copy of mother/ father/ legal guardian and birth certificate of the minor applicant may be enclosed with the application..
2. Visa application of non-Malaysian foreigner who is not resident of Malaysia is liable to be rejected. Non-Malaysian third country applicants who are permanent residents of Malaysia/ holding work permit in Malaysia may enclose photocopies of supporting document along with visa application. Processing of such applications would take at least 5 working days.
3. There should be a gap of at least 30 days between new tourist visa application and expiry of previous tourist visa. There should be a gap of 60 days from date of last exit from India and next entry into India under a tourist visa.
4. People of Indian Origin are eligible for Entry Visa (X-Visa). Such applicants may attach copy of support documents with application.
5. Tourist visas are non-extendable and non-convertible.
6. Validity of a visa starts from the date of issue and not from the date of travel. Possession of confirmed travel ticket/ hotel bookings is not valid ground for issuance of visa.
7. Visa fee including service fee is non-refundable.
8. Passport / Travel Document need to be valid for at least six months with minimum 2 unused pages while applying for a visa.
