- Foreign passports need clearance from the country of origin. The processing time of minimum five (5) working days is required for submission in Kuala Lumpur and seven (7) working days for Penang and Johor Bahru.
- Once Clearance date is available, passports submitted before 1500 hrs at the India Visa Centre, Kuala Lumpur are collectable on the next working day from 1630hrs to 1730hrs. For passports submitted with reference clearance in Penang and Johor Bahru Visa Centres', they are collectable with visa on the third (3rd) working day after 1300hrs.
