VISA STATUS
MALAYSIAN PASSPORTS
- Reference / Approval Check on VISA STATUS not required
- VISA application & collection at India Visa Centre, Kuala Lumpur:
- For application submission between 9.00am to 2.00pm, passport will be collectable between 4.30pm to 5.30pm on the third (3rd) working day.
- VISA application & collection at India Visa Centre, Penang & Johor Bahru:
- For application submission between 9.00am to 1500pm passport will be collectable between 2.00pm to 4.00pm on the fourth (4th) working day
FOREIGN PASSPORTS
- Foreign passports requires clearance from the country of origin. Processing takes minimum five (5) working days for submission at GrandLotus India Visa Centre, Kuala Lumpur and minimum seven (7) working days for Penang and Johor Bahru branches.
- Once clearance is available, passport submission for visa needs to done between 9.00am to 2.00pm at GrandLotus India Visa Centre, Kuala Lumpur for visa collection on the third (3rd) working day between 4.30pm to 5.30pm. For Penang and Johor Bahru India Visa Centres, passport has to be submitted between 9.00am to 3.00pm for collection on the fourth (4th) working day between 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
- It will take a total number of 8 minimum working days for submissions at Kuala Lumpur and 10 minimum working days for submissions at Penang and Johor Bahru
Return of Passports
Upon receiving the passport with visa from the High Commission, following mode of delivery is arranged:
Counter Delivery
Processed passport(s) should be collected from the respective GrandLotus India Visa Centre branches where the application was submitted.
Applicants are required to provide the original receipt issued at the application centre at the time of collection.
Please note: All applicants are personally responsible for their receipts. Delivery of passport(s) would be done to the bearer of the original receipt. Hence, you are strongly advised to report any loss or theft of receipt immediately to the India Visa Application Centre where you submitted your application.
Please note that the collection timings of passports
I) Kuala Lumpur Branch India Visa Centre is from 1630 hours ~ 1750 hours
II) Penang Branch India Visa Centre is from 1400 hours ~ 1600 hours
III) Johor Branch India Visa Centre is from 1400 hours ~ 1600 hours
